Preparation – Parents’ Blessings
While the groom was having fun with his family and witnesses, for the bride the preparation was a very special moment: in fact the bridesmaids arrived directly from Colombia to party with a home concert of local music, but also to help the very tense bride relax while waiting for the wedding.
It is in fact tradition for the parents to bless the bride before leaving the house and, in addition to the emotional look of the father who tried to glimpse his daughter between the curtains, this was the most delicate moment.
The wedding in the church of Sant'Antonio in Posillipo
The church of Sant'Antonio a Posillipo is as intimate inside as it is breathtaking outside. In fact, the most famous panorama of Naples, the postcard one that we all know, accompanies the newlyweds.
During the ceremony, there was a very delicate moment: the exchange of arras, or small coins that the spouses pass from hand to hand symbolizing every positive wish. Even in the our spanish wedding there was a very similar ritual, but in this case it was the parents who passed the coins to the newlyweds.

The church said goodbye to us a little late on the schedule, but we couldn't miss the photo with everyone present from the terraces of Posillipo for any reason in the world. Then, in agreement with the newlyweds, we decided to move nearby, arriving at the curve of Via Petrarca. From here, the view worked its magic and the newlyweds melted in a moment as intimate as it was delicate.
The party: Wedding at Arches
A terrace in Vomero: Le Arcate is a venue for events with a long tradition that, with its panorama and covered terrace, guarantees perfect success for the spouses.
The interior of the structure is developed on multiple levels and, in fact, the couple's table is in a higher position than the guests' table, allowing everyone to turn around to make a wish or a dedication.
Then, the party gave way to fun, with dancing until the evening.
