Choosing Cilento as a destination for a wedding is an interesting idea: the places are uncontaminated and the atmospheres give delicate and vivid colors. However, we decided to pay homage to the tones of the "dolce vita" that these places give us to elaborate a color of cinematic and nostalgic post-production, which characterized this wedding in a special way.

The preparation – Two newlyweds in a hotel

The newlyweds, being far from home, decided to stay in the same hotel. We therefore wanted to split up in the reportage, trying to take advantage of the very sweet panoramas, between green and blue.

The wedding in the church of Marina di Camerota

We went to the nearby Marina di Camerota to celebrate the wedding ceremony. Here the ceremony was very special because a parent, dressed as a Deacon, performed the wedding ritual.
I decided to focus on him: his expressions that were visible behind the altar. A mixture of tension, thoughts and joy that appeared in every gesture.

The photo set: A bit of Irpinia in Cilento

We are facing the sea, but it was the path that captured our imagination. The idea of not moving too far from the party location, in fact, was fundamental.

The party a reception on the terrace

The Hotel La Torre in Palinuro It is an interesting location for weddings: its terrace overlooking the sea is truly fascinating and the atmosphere is reminiscent of those simple and holiday-like airs. A wedding here is more of a big dinner with friends than a traditional reception.
