One of the most characteristic seaside villages of Naples is the setting chosen by Fortuna and Alessandro for their wedding in Marechiaro. Let's discover the story of their wedding.
The moments of the day:
Preparation
The entire preparation took place in Naples, between the neighborhoods of Capodimonte and Chiaiano. Both boys, very reserved, had only their respective families to assist them. And we fully respected their wishes, remaining in the utmost discretion.
The church: Santa Maria del Faro in Marechiaro
Here we are in a small but truly enchanting church. All the seats were occupied and this contributed to giving a great sense of warmth around the spouses who, gathered near the altar, finally let themselves go in an intense embrace.
The set: Marechiaro and Posillipo
We decided to keep the set time after the church within 40 minutes: since the wedding ended at 12.30 and it was already in an extremely photogenic location, we just needed to take advantage of the enchanting views of Marechiaro to tell that deep and intimate moment that breaks the emotional tension of the church.
Plus, we had two exceptional companions: the vintage Beetle, which was the newlyweds' car, and… my trusty blue Vespa, which also became the star of the set!
The party: Villa Lucrezio in Posillipo
The choice of the spouses was clear from the first moment: to dedicate themselves as much as possible to the party and not waste time with shots, sets and "seizures" typical of old-style photographers. We immediately agreed on this request.
While I followed the newlyweds together with the videomaker, the second shot collected details and stories of Villa Lucrezio and its beautiful belvedere. A station with personalized glasses had also been prepared for the guests: a beautiful surprise will come out!
The Polaroids
The protagonists in an even more evident way than usual are the Polaroids. In fact, we decided to give them to all the guests (about 80) leaving them, with the complicity of the wedding planner, on the wooden logs used as placeholders. A success! We then left other Polaroids of the day on a table, to tell the story of the event with our classic reportage method.
